  • Birds As Art The website of Art Morris, one of the world's leading bird photographers. Make sure to sign up for his Birds as Art bulletin.
  • Joseph Van Os Photo Safaris Photo tour operator with a bi-monthly magazine containing some very useful articles on  nature photography.
  • NÆRFOTO Bjørn Rørslett An innovative photographer whose site contains the best Nikkor lens reviews on the web.
  • Dan Heller Dan has a lot of great content on his site, including a fantastic section on the business side of photography. It is well worth a read for an alternative view on the photography business. 
  • Mountain Light Photography the site of the late Galen Rowell, one of nature photography's masters and an inspirational writer on the subject.
  • Wildlife Research Photography Moose Peterson's site and a mixed bag of very useful information and equipment reviews that are sometimes almost endorsements. Moose though is a genuine enthusiast and a talented photographer. 
  • Pete Turner Photography Not really a nature photographer, but a great talent we can all learn from.
  • McDonaldWildlifePhotography The site of this gifted photography couple contains some very useful how to information and details of their photo tours.
  • John MacPherson  A talented photographer, lucky enough to be working in one of the world's most beautiful places - Scotland.
  • Jayson Kingsbeer Photography  Event photography services and affordable wedding photography from this impressive young photographer and entrepreneur.

  • BirdingNZ.net  Discussion forums allowing everyone with an interest in NZ birds to find and share information, including rare bird observations.

  • Ornithological Society of New Zealand  Promoting the study of birds in New Zealand.
  • Wrybill Bird Tours  New Zealand birding tours.
  • Kiwi Wildlife Tours New Zealand Discover New Zealand's and the South Pacific's birds and natural wonders.
  • Ross Silcock's bird tours Ross brings groups of American birders to New Zealand very year and has an excellent knowledge of where to find New Zealand birds.
  • Karori Sanctuary Karori Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected natural area in Wellington where the bio-diversity of a square mile of forest is being restored.
  • Royal Forest and Bird Society The Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society of New Zealand is New Zealand’s largest national conservation organisation. The Society's mission is to preserve and protect the native plants and animals and natural features of New Zealand.
  • New Zealand Brown Teal online This site provides information about New Zealand’s critically endangered Brown Teal (Pakete) and efforts to help conserve and manage them.

  • Wildlife Watching Supplies - Provides a wide range of camo equipment that is ideal for nature watching/photography, including an excellent dome hide, which I use for my bird photography.
  • Pro gear A good source of second hand gear in New Zealand.
  • B&H Photo-Video-Pro Audio Home page The web's best on-line store with an incredible range, good prices and excellent service.
  • The L.L. Rue Catalog Camera Supports A good selection of accessories for the nature photographer.

  • New Zealand based retailer with excellent prices, a good second hand selection and reliable customer service. Recommended.

  • Grays of Westminster, exclusively Nikon The world's only Nikon only store. A good second hand selection and faultless customer service.
